My Story
It started with a computer my father brought for us in the Philippines after coming home from Saudi Arabia as an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker). He was a programmer working abroad, and I was about 7 years old, old enough to be curious, not old enough to know where that curiosity would lead. I didn't just want to use the computer. I wanted to understand how it worked, and eventually, how to build something with it. That curiosity grew into a love for games, a Computer Science degree at De La Salle University, and an early career writing game code.
Then came the role that changed everything. I became Gameloft Philippines' first-ever Producer, leading a team to ship three Nintendo DSi titles under tight deadlines. That's when I fell in love with project management - not the paperwork side, but the part where you take a mess of moving pieces and turn it into something that ships on time. Coordinating across developers, designers, and QA across time zones, figuring out what to prioritize when everything feels urgent - that became the work I wanted to keep doing.
What followed was less of a straight line and more of a series of bets that paid off. I transitioned into freelance work, building a client base through Upwork and Fiverr, doing remote QA and game design for Boomzap Entertainment, and eventually turned that into Kaisayasoft, a freelancer agency I ran for nearly a decade - matching vetted talent with clients and managing delivery across multiple projects simultaneously. In between, I served as COO at First Million Services, building their sportsbook operations from scratch, founded and sold two internet cafes at a 30% ROI, and took Master of Business Administration courses in Entrepreneurship at UST (University of Santo Tomas). I also built OneSnap Esports on the side, a passion project that turned competitive, and our alumni went on to BREN Esports, RRQ, and Team Secret PH. Colleagues and clients tend to describe me as "very organized" and "someone who gets things done." I'll take it.
That same instinct for organizing chaos is what drives my work today. Whether it's managing a $2M program across distributed teams, designing an AI automation pipeline, or scoping out an LLM integration from requirements to production - I break it down, build the plan, and move. I don't wait for perfect conditions. I take what's available and make it work.
Today I'm based in Valencia, working with clients across 5 regions at the intersection of AI, product, and operations. On the side, I'm co-founding MapArt with my son - he brings the Gen Z vision, I handle the architecture, development, and analytics. I also co-founded ClarroxWeb, a web development company serving SMEs in Europe. If you need someone who can lead from the front on AI and automation, project management, operations and leadership, game production, web and app development, or marketing ops - let's talk.
