Gameloft was expanding into the Philippines and needed someone to build the production function from scratch. As the first Producer hired, I led a cross-functional team of developers, artists, and QA through full production cycles on 3 Nintendo DSi titles - Ferrari GT: Evolution, Oregon Trail, and Brain Challenge - while coordinating with Gameloft HQ in Paris. All 3 shipped on time and passed Nintendo certification.
Challenge
Three titles needed to be developed, ported, and shipped on schedule with no established local production process. Coordination flowed between the Philippines team and Paris headquarters, with Nintendo's certification standards as the quality bar.
How I Delivered
- Built the local production process from zero, establishing milestone-based delivery workflows
- Led sprint planning, feature prioritization, and cross-platform porting schedules
- Coordinated with Gameloft HQ on production standards, asset pipelines, and submission requirements
- Managed the team through pre-production, development, QA, and final submission for all 3 titles
- Ferrari GT: Evolution - racing game, full production cycle through Nintendo submission
- Oregon Trail - classic franchise port, cross-platform coordination with HQ
- Brain Challenge - puzzle game, milestone planning and feature scoping
Results
- All 3 titles shipped on time and passed Nintendo certification
- Established Gameloft Philippines' production workflows from the ground up
- Proved the local team could deliver console-quality titles independently
