First Million Services was a brand-new venture with nothing in place: no systems, no staff, no processes. As COO, I took full ownership of the build and turned a blank slate into a fully functioning sportsbook business within the first year.
Challenge
The company needed someone to walk into a completely empty operation and create structure from scratch. There were no existing systems, no vendor relationships, no documented processes, and no team. Everything had to be scoped, prioritized, and built in the right order while the business was getting off the ground.
What I Built
- Hired, trained, and managed staff across all operational functions
- Established vendor relationships and negotiated service agreements
- Designed processes and systems for daily operations, reporting, and quality control
- Managed budgets, resource allocation, and operational planning
This was my first executive role, and it shaped how I approach every engagement since. The ability to walk into ambiguity and create structure - scoping what needs to exist, prioritizing what to build first, iterating until it works - is what I bring to every client today, whether I'm setting up a ClickUp workspace for an agency or architecting an AI workflow for a SaaS team.
